Okay, so this is going to be a pretty long post about things that I have wanted to talk about and just random things that just occurred to me while I was working the midnight shift last night. As many of you know (or hey you might not know that I don’t really listen to pop radio or whatever it is called), I mainly listen to classic rock or hard rock. The point is that the only time I listen to songs like “Whatever You Like” by T.I. was at my workplace where they play a station that plays like 10 songs over and over (maybe I am exaggerating, but still). Of course, I knew there was the use of the “n” word and such, but this is where it gets really embarrassing. I never knew that there is a part of the lyrics “Yeah late night sex, so wet so tight” until I actually downloaded the song. Let me tell you that now I finally get the meaning about “Let me put that big boy in your life”. I am a dork (I don’t know the exact term for something like this, but whatever ____ is I am). Also, I was more familiar with the youtube version by the awesome alphacat, so then when I listen to “Whatever You Like”, I always bust out with “I picked Joe Biden and this one’s ridin”. So why did I even download T.I. if anyone wants to know, its because this one guy told me that I needed to expand my library and so I downloaded some rap songs especially Nas (cause apparently, he is a legend). I always liked Jay-Z so I guess “Ether” was not the best place to start hey? I also finally listened to Imran Khan’s “Pirate Radio”. I had this silly grinning face the whole time and in my lunch break during my midnight shift, I kept on laughing randomly in the lounge and my coworkers were giving me odd looks ahaha.
